- 4 Mounting holes are tapped for easier installation, 4 bolts included.
- Includes pulley locknut (for part number 178342) and spacer (for part number 129963 or 187690)
- 5 point star on shaft, Includes Blade Bolt/Washer for part number 174365
- Important, install spacer under the pulley, not on top of the pulley. (pulley not included)
Used on 48" decks, Craftsman Poulan Husqvarna 2001 to 2004 (and some 2005, 2006). This is the shorter spindle assy (about 6" with grease fitting), be careful, some of the 48" decks after 2004 used the taller 187292 spindle (over 7") and some of the 2005, 2006 48" decks used this shorter spindle. Check your part list or send us the model number if you are not sure if this is the correct part. Very important when installing the pulley to put the spacer under the pulley (between the pulley and top bearing). If installed without a spacer or with the spacer on top of the pulley damage will occur to the shaft and pulley.
