Rockwood 18BFB Bottom Fire Bolt for Fire Rated Metal Doors - Eliminates The Bottom Automatic Flush Bolt

Rockwood 18BFB Bottom Fire Bolt Eliminates the bottom automatic flush bolt and dust proof strike.
When the door is subjected to 230ËšF heat or fire, the plug and gray plastic cover will melt allowing the bolt to project, locking the leaves together.
UL Listed only when used with automatic top bolt.
UL Listed up to and including 3 hour opening (A Label) in conjuction with the 2840 or 2805 top Bolt for metal doors up to 4ft x 8ft

Please Note: The BFB will project during a fire. Do not cover door edge with any edge mounted door hardware (astragals, door edgings). Surface Applied Astragals to the face of a door is allowable.
