This heavy duty Rolland(TM) brand gas lift cylinder is manufactured to the highest industry standard. Its' universal shaft size is compatible with all office chairs sold in the USA/Canada. Outer cylinder is 2" in diameter, and the inner cylinder is 1.1" in diameter. Diameter is measured at the center of cylinder, not at the edge. Both cylinders' edge are slightly tapered for ease of installation. Minimum length is 10.5" and extendable to a maximum length of 15.5".
