- Easy installation: in a car WITH RACK straps loop around the side rails, cross bars or basket. In a car WITHOUT RACK straps loop from top of carrier through inside of car. Doors close over straps without interfering with the operation of doors, windows, door seal, or side curtain airbags. Easy access to carrier contents through four heavy-duty buckles. (Large vehicles may need an additional set of straps.)
