Rope ratchet is made super tough to take all the hard work you do. The outer casings are made from #6 - 33 percent glass filled nylon with interior mechanisms of die cast z The rope is solid braided polyester or polypropylene and the hooks are zinc plated steel. With the 1/4" rope ratchet you simply attach the two hooks and pull the loose end of the rope for a secure, tight hold. Rope ratchets stay tight, locking in place as you pull the free end.
