- SAV-A-HOOF Med-i-sole gel provides an effective treatment for infections of the sole and frog of horses’ hooves.
- Use under shoes and pads to fight white line disease, thrush, candida yeast, bacteria and fungi.
- Applicator tip allows for easy placement of the gel formula with little run-off and waste.
- Place gel inside hard to reach areas where future access is limited such as under shoes and pads.
Effective treatment against whiteline disease, seedy toe, thrush, candida yeast, anaerobic and aerobic bacteria and fungus. Sav-a-hoof soak kills bacteria, fungi and yeast on contact. It is effective against hoof infections of the hoof wall, sole and frog including: whiteline disease, thrush and seedy toe. DIRECTIONS: 1. Clean off dirt, hoof dressings and other debris from the hoof wall. Remove as much soft, infected hoof wall as possible. 2. Place Easyboot MEDICATOR or equivalent with foam insert on the hoof, (if a boot is not being used, use Sav-a Hoof soak gel, Sav-a-Hoof liquid or Sav-a-Hoof spray). 3. Squirt enough Sav-a-Hoof soak into the easyboot MEDICATOR to fill above foam insert. 4. Keep easyboot MEDICATOR on hoof for 30 minutes at a time, twice a day. 5. Continue to treat until all signs of the infection are gone. Remember some severe cases of whiteline disease may take months to treat successfully. 6. Discontinue treatment if hooves become soft and/or mushy.
