- A transfer seat that is safer and more stable than a transfer board. Use your upper body strength or caregiver assistance to shuffle from our product into and out of a vehicle. Weighs (14 lbs.), folds, and easily stores behind the seat or in the trunk. 500lb. Rated. Once setup this is a fixed platform to get situated on outside of the vehicle and there are NO movable parts.
- Helps caregivers safely assist passengers while entering and exiting a vehicle. The Slide 'n Ride sets up to a FIXED position and needs to be at the SAME height as the Vehicle's seat (PLEASE MEASURE your vehicle). Seat DOES NOT SWIVEL and there is no back support where assistance may be needed. Smaller stature people may still need a step or assistance getting onto and off the Slide 'n Ride. Fits most cars and lower height SUV's. The maximum height of the seat is 26Â¾" . If your passenger seat isÂ taller than 28" it is not advisable to use our seat due to the height restrictions. The interior set of legs are adjustable at 7", 8" and 9". Th exterior legs rest on the ground outside the vehicle and are adjustable. These legs have latching positions in 1-inch increments to accommodate various vehicle seat heights. NOTE: Most vehicle seats have a bolster on the left and right side which may be higher than the actual seating surface. These bolsters are usually soft and pliable and as the passengers gets into the vehicle the bolster easily "squishes" down to allow the passenger to easily slide on to the vehicle seat comfortably.
