- BFL (Blue Face Leicester) is UK's finest longwool and so soft on bare skin. Most spinners find BFL easier to spin than Merino and prefer it for it's wonderful drape and high luster. 25 microns, but the fiber feels finer than the micron count would suggest.
- BFL wool is an excellent fiber for beginning spinners: we pre-drafted this roving to thumb thickness which makes learning to spin a breeze. BFL is also very popular for felting, carding and blending.
