SRAM PC 1091 HollowPin Chain

SRAM's lightweight PC-1091 HollowPin Chain features a nickel-plated finish on both the inner and outer links to provide shifting performance that is as tough as it is smooth. As the name suggests, the PC-1091 uses hollow, chrome hardened pins that not only save weight (roughly 20 grams lighter than a chain with solid pins), but also enhance durability. For a quieter ride, SRAM designed the PC-1091 with more chamfer on the inside of the outer-plates. And to make installation quick and easy, SRAM built the PC-1091 with the PowerLock connecting link, meaning you can install the chain without a special tool--this is the only sub-6mm chain out there that has this feature. The SRAM PC-1091 HollowPin Chain is made specifically for 10-speed drivetrains and pairs perfectly with the shape of SRAM cassettes and chainrings to provide optimal and effortless shifting. The PC-1091 is compatible with Shimano 10-speed drivetrains as well.
