SSP Gray Hi-Density Tape for Sealing Around Doors. Bring your door up to it's full soundproofing potential!

Use our SSP Gray Closed Cell PVC Tape 1/8" thick, comes in rolls with Self Adhesive backing. (Not from the hardware store) to seal sound leaks around your doorstop. (The part that keeps the door from swinging through the frame). Choose the widths of the stop and the roll length depending on how many doors you need to do. One 25' roll does one door and 75' does 3 doors.

Clean door surface well before applying. Use hardware store alcohol, not from the bathroom! Apply to gaps around the door to prevent sound leaks. Use a light and a dark room to see the sound leaks. Double tape up if necessary. The door should be sealed off as if it was 40 degrees below zero on one side!

If your door has a gap of over 1/4″ at the bottom, use our bottom door sweep seal, (a metal strip with a rubber loop flap) mounted to it, available from us. Set it to just brush the floor.
