The Scott Resources 6 Piece Economy Igneous Rock Collection contains six igneous rock specimens for studying rock and mineral properties in classroom demonstrations and experiments. Igneous rocks form from cooled molten rock. The set includes the following specimens: granite, gabbro, basalt, rhyolite, obsidian, and scoria. The set comes with a segmented tray for organizing and displaying the specimens. Each specimen is 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" long. The set is packed in a resealable bag that is labeled with the name and description of each rock. Rock specimens are used in geology and other scientific applications.
