Back in the 1970's just after I left playing in my band, "The Roemans" I created a rather primitive recording studio down a little alley named Library Lane in my hometown of Tarpon Springs, Florida. This is the time that I started taking song writing seriously and really began working hard at the difficult but rewarding craft. This was all done before I moved to Atlanta and wrote my first hit, "Key Largo". Presented here in this album are some of those first primitive attempts, most of them vocal and Martin guitar only and the bass that you will hear on some were a set of Fender bass pedals that I played with my right foot. There are songs of lost love, found love, making love, playing in bars up and down the coast of Florida and just generally struggling to become a successful singer/songwriter. So, I began writing and recording some of these first attempts in that studio. A major song publisher in New York, had these songs tied up contractually for several years and I just had them returned to me. Even thought the sound of these recordings is rough because of age and dated recording technique, I decided to use the original demos that way they were back than. Thank you for listening
