This compilation attempts to present a comprehensive overview of Jimmy's Spruills early career. In addition to relatively obscure collectibles also better known titles found side by side, and his percussive, rhythmic scratchy style runs through all the tracks. And while it is incomplete, this collection remains a really tremendous work and takes a renewed focus on an often overlooked and largely forgotten early "Guitar Hero" of the blues, R & B and Soul.
