Fits Supercharged 4TEC's 215/230/255/260/300 and non supercharged 130/155/185 models with a floating ring / carbon seal driveshaft setup.

This tool gives the leverage to push back on the carbon seal retaining ring, or slide ring, so the circlip can be removed and the drive shaft pulled out.

Everyone that has tried to remove their drive shaft knows that there are a couple situations that make pulling back the slide ring more difficult than it already is and this tool even more a necessity:
Either the high tension of the accordion boot putting pressure on the slide ring, corrosion making the slide ring seize in place, and/or the use of aftermarket bands or orings to put more than stock pressure on the carbon seal and slide ring to prevent cavitation
