The album was created in the classic tradition of Christmas and hopes to portray what the holiday season is all about. The album features Christmas classics mixed in with some less known, yet beloved seasonal tracks. Season of Hope is comprised of twenty important pieces such as "Up on the Housetop" and "What Child is This/A Child is Born". Several of the ensembles of the United States Air Force Band, including Max Impact, Silver Wings, and The Concert Band, participate on the album.
