Easily adjust the width of the window guard from 31â€ to 54â€ before itâ€™s mounted to the inside window jamb or over the interior casing. It has a fixed height of 21â€ and is constructed of .048 thick, plain carbon steel square tubing with 3-7/8â€ bar spacing and a bronze painted finish. Installation is easy and the window guard comes with one-way, tamper-proof installation screws. The window guard is not for use on horizontal sliding windows or hinged casement type windows.

This child fall window guard meets New York City, New Jersey and Oregon Home Builders Association health and safety building codes. It was approved by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, HDWG #04-09-2010, but it does not meet egress.
