T-27 Torx barrel nuts are Stainless steel, satin finish. They have tamper-resistant 6 lobe security drives with center pins that assist in preventing loosening and removal. These fasteners are manufactured with #10-24 threads and have a total reach of 1/2 inch, with a 1/4 inch outside diameter, and a 7/16 inch head diameter. Installation and removal of these types of security fasteners requires a Torx driver tool, or insert bits for power tools. More common name is Sex bolts and Chicago bolts.
