Rebecca quietly opened the door to her apartment and was relieved to find that Amanda was already asleep. She didn't want her roommate to see her like this. It would require an explanation, and Rebecca was still confused about what had happened. She stripped off her dress and sandals and stepped into the shower to rinse off the evidence of her depraved behavior.

As the hot water relaxed her muscles and soothed her mind, Rebecca replayed the events of the evening in her head. She'd been scared as hell, but had willingly gone along with nearly everything Michael suggested. She thought about the hot guy asking Michael for permission to have sex with her. Rebecca had definitely wanted him, wanted to feel him inside of her. The fact was that she had even enjoyed being under Michael's control, mindlessly doing whatever he'd demanded of her, and had gotten excited about giving herself up for the enjoyment of a group of strangers. Still, she couldn't shake the feeling of dread that she had lost control for a second time in two days, that her desire for sex had taken over the rational part of her mind and was exclusively calling the shots.

She wrapped a towel around her and headed for her bedroom, noticing a slip of paper and a letter placed prominently on a little table by the apartment's entrance. The paper said, "Brandon called." Rebecca smiled wanly, wondering what her rock guitarist lover would think of what she'd done over the last couple of days in the video store and the adult theater. Would he be turned on? Horrified? Jealous, maybe? Regardless, she knew she could never tell anyone how far she'd gone. She had been shameless and wicked, and worst of all, for the most part she had enjoyed it. No, these exploits would remain her secret.
