PROPER USE OF STENCILS TO ENSURE A LONG LIFE

DON'T

Don't leave stencils on targets while paint dries, it glues them to the targets. Paint and remove immediately.
Don't use lacquer based paints they will eat the plastic in the stencils.
Don't clean paint off of stencils after painting. Paint (even many layers) will not hurt stencils but solvents will.
Don't use cheap paint you will use 4x as much and it will take 4x as long to dry. A light coat of fast dry auto primer works best.

Stencils are now .045" thick over 3x as thick as they were when introduced so they are stronger than ever.
For maximum contrast paint targets forst with one color then a high contrast color for the stencil.
If you are getting runs you are using too much paint, if you are using quality paint a light coat will suffice.
Stencils have one tab that is longer than the others, this is to help you avoid getting paint on your fingers.
Only one side of these is magnetic, both with stick to target but one side is much weaker. Use the most magnetic side.
