The Sora Combination Honing Steel complements your entire Shun Sora knife selection, keeping blades in peak-performance shape.  Made with high-quality steel, the Combination Honing Steel features both a smooth surface for every day honing, and a micro-ribbed side for weekly honing.  Honing to the correct 16-degree Shun angle is a breeze. To use, line up your blade with the built-in angle guide on the hand guard, and gently pull the blade down from heel to tip 3-4 times and repeat on the other side. The textured PP/TPE polymer handle creates a sure-grip surface to the honing steel handle, so precision honing is achieved.
