Skyflame LP Propane Gas Fire Pit Air Mixer Valve 1/2", Solid Brass, 90K BTU Max Capacity
- Made from solid brass to prevent corrosion and ensure long life of the air mixer
- Designed for use with fire pit burners using liquid propane gas; Rated up to 90,000 BTU
- Mixes air at the liquid propane (LP) intake of your fire pit burner to create a more efficient and cleaner burning flame, thus reducing soot normally associated with liquid propane gas
- For propane (LP) only, improves propane burn effectively. Results in higher quality flame appearance and reduces sooty normally associated with propane
- 1/2" Female or Male (with included adapter) NPT on Burner Side and 1/2" Male NPT on Incoming Side
when you using liquid propane or some other combustible gas for outdoor fire or fire pit, air mixers is a necessary choice for you. LP or Liquid Propane is heavier than air and will burn dark and sooty if not mixed with air. Our LP air mixture valve, or air mixer, will mix air with the incoming LP to burn clean and bright. It's more of a fitting than an actual valve and should be connected directly to your burner ring or pan. If after installing one of our air mixture valves and you still see soot you may have moisture in your lines, excessive pressure, or an incorrectly sized gas orifice. Please consult with a professional gas plumber to remedy these issues.
