- The Design Difference: The Salmon is a simplified cable-specific rendition of Slingshot’s original longboard, the Nomad. It’s designed in partnership with one of our favorite park riders of all time - Victor Salmon. The smooth base is extremely playful in the park and the beefy sidewalls help protect the core. New for 2024 is a smaller 147 cm to give the up-and-coming generation a chance to get on board too. Much like a Salmon, this board is slick on the rails and fast through the water.
- Single-Shot Sidewalls: Our innovative manufacturing process infuses the rail into the core of the board with a single shot, eliminating the need for fasteners or staples, and producing unrivaled dampening and durability. Atomic Wood Core: Vertically laminated wood core construction is what gives Slingshot boards their signature flex performance. It’s lightweight and durable, delivering superior pop, rebound, and that overall magical feeling in the park.
- Ballistic Base: With .7 mm of bulletproof protection between your board and the surfaces you’re sliding across, this base layer is ready for battle. Put to the test daily by some of the most daring park riders in the game. Carbon Bedrock Inserts: Light, flexible, and super strong. Reduces overall board weight, increases pull strength, and allows for a more consistent flex underfoot.
- Continuous Rocker: This continuous curve equates to faster board speed on the water, allowing you to ride longer with less arm fatigue and delivering an exciting, fast, and fun feel.
