- Bed alarm and pad automatically alert caregiver with your patient exits their bed.
- The monitor features a prominently placed reset button to silence the alert, a low battery indicator, a pad lost alert if the pad is disconnected, and volume adjustment.
- The weight-sensing bed pad is made of a soft, latex-free vinyl, with foam interior, and is sealed for incontinence protection. The weight sensing pad for the bed is 10"x30".
- To operate, simply place pad under your patient's back or buttock area underneath the fitted sheet. Alarm will sound as patient sits up to get up from bed.
- Monitor and Pad both come with a 1 year warranty. Requires one 9 volt battery (not included)
Bed alarms and sensor pads are the best method of getting an early alert that your patient is trying to get out of bed. Place the pad under your patient's back or buttock area (beneath the fitted sheet). The pad has a cord which runs along the side of the mattress. When the patient starts to sit up, taking their weight off the pad, the pad sends a signal to the bed alarm monitor and the monitor will start to alarm and let you know they need assistance. By having an alarm in the room with the patient, you will not only hear the alert from an adjacent room, but the patient may slow down and wait for you once they hear the alarm sound, giving you valuable time to come to their aid.
