Drawing from the Cinema Line and Alpha series of cameras, it offers an optimized portable cinema camera experience. The FX3 not only delivers the imaging attributes expected from this class, but also introduces a newly designed body that’s easy to hold, featuring a streamlined and minimalist profile
- The 12.1MP Exmor R BSI CMOS sensor, which is effectively 10.2MP in video mode, collaborates with a BIONZ XR processor to deliver UHD 4K video recording. This combination allows for internal 10-bit 4:2:2 sampling or 16-bit raw output. Additionally, the sensor and processor significantly minimize rolling shutter. The sensor’s design also includes a Fast Hybrid AF system, which enables smart and speedy focusing performance and subject tracking.
- FLEXIBLE: Not only is the design compact, but it’s also engineered to optimize efficiency and usability. This is achieved through the integration of a 3.0" touchscreen LCD that can be adjusted, a detachable top handle that can be mounted on the shoe and comes with dual XLR mic inputs, and a 5-axis mechanical image stabilization system for more stable handheld recording.
