SOUNDS OF VIOLENCE

Let there be Death... Let there be Thrash! In 2011 a new chapter is about to come to the more than legendary UK Death/Thrash band, Onslaught! Since first forming in the early 80's and releasing 3 critically acclaimed studio albums but never really getting fully off the ground (they were often touted to be worthy of marching in the same ranks as Slayer, Metallica, Megadeth, Testament etc.), they eventually disbanding in 1991. Refreshed and reforming again for 2007's excellent "Killing Peace", 2011 now finds Onslaught back to conquer the Metal legions with "Sounds Of Violence"! Founding member and guitarist Nige Rockett comments on "The Sound Of Violence": "It's extremely violent and back to our roots in many ways, but also sounding very contemporary in its entirety. We just can't wait to get it out there and play these fu***** songs live, cuz that's what this record has been written for, crushing skulls." Features guest appearances from Motörhead's Phil Campbell and Tom Angelripper from Sodom!
