This spoon rest is fun and feminine. The stormy sea glaze emphasizes perfectly the delicate dahlia carving. Makes a beautiful accent piece for any kitchen. This spoon rest is hand thrown on the potters wheel using a buff stoneware clay. It is then trimmed and carved in my signature dahlia carving, fired, glazed in my lead-free, non-toxic Stormy Sea teal blue, and fired again. This spoon rest measures approximately 5 inches in diameter, and 3/4 inches tall. Each piece is unique, so please allow for slight variation in size, placement of dahlia flowers, and color. Your spoon rest is one of a kind, how cool is that! Like all Joyful Clay pottery, this spoon rest is dishwasher safe, microwaveable, and safe for food.
