Springfield is a companion mini-album to the critically lauded Calling Out of Context. The title track is a previously unreleased electro-dance piece recorded by Arthur Russell in the very late eighties. Culled from over four and half hours of tracking, "Springfield" has now been edited and remixed by the DFA. Also features the previously unreleased tracks "See My Brother," "He's Jumping Out (Let's Go Swimming #1)," "Corn #3," "Hiding Your Present From You," and "You Have Did The Right Thing When You Put That Skylight In" from the unreleased album Corn.
