Instead of saying "I don't want to do chores." Your kids are going to be saying "I Can Do This!" They will be lining up to pick their chores and emoji's! I Can Do This Responsibility Chart is a program designed to help children develop the characteristic of being responsible.
With the program, parents and children work together to define responsibilities as they create a customized responsibility chart and then they track how well the responsibilities are performed. Tasks and behaviors are clearly represented on the colorful chart with picture tiles so no reading is required. Children are excited to show they have been responsible by placing a star or emoji next to the tasks or behaviors they have successfully completed each day. When children achieve the goal, they are rewarded with consequences defined in advance such as reading an extra book at bed time, playing a game, or sharing a treat.
My Responsibilities Chart comes complete with 26 common, pre-defined, illustrated tasks and behaviors. It also comes with 4 blank tiles that can be customized for other important tasks and behaviors.
