Our life is comparable to river Ganga. It is as pure as Ganga but become polluted due to pollutants coming from outside. The flow of water of Ganga changes with time. Similar change occurs in our life with the passage of time; it has ups and downs. The stories published in this book exhibit pain and pleasure particularly urban-living people in the present days.

According to the author certain basic principles make our life beautiful. In the present days we are deviating from these principles. As a result even though we have many things in our life we are unable to solve basic problems of our life. A few of these principles are shown in the stories published in this book.
