- Sterling Seal & Supply Style 9000 - 304 Stainless Steel Spiral Wound Gaskets are a precision-engineered sealing solution for flat and raised face flanges and flanged joints.
- Style 9000 gaskets supplied by Sterling Seal & Supply are also suitable for heat exchangers, boiler hand holes, manholes, and other high-temperature, high-pressure applications
- Gasket Identification Markings Required by ASME B16.20 clearly Etched in all gaskets. These gaskets excel in the prevention of flange erosion, inward buckling and reduction of turbulent flow.
- Installation Tip: Spiral Wound Gaskets with internal or external guide rings should be fully compressed to the guide ring. This will not damage the gasket or affect the sealing performance.
- Installation Tip: Check that flange faces are clean and in good condition. Ensure correct bolting material is utilized to suit the operating conditions, and the use of bolt lubrication is employed.
