Product Description
StewMac Carbide-Tipped Binding Router Bit, 5/16"-Diameter
- The carbide tips on this bit stay sharp longer than steel, giving you cleanly-cut binding channels time and time again
- The small diameter makes it ideal for tight curves on guitars and mandolins
- Has a 1/8" shank, which fits most Dremel & Foredom tools
- Cutter diameter is 5/16" (7.94mm); cutting height is 3/8" (9.52mm)
Carbide-tipped! For routing binding channels, the carbide tips stay sharp longer than steel. Small diameter is ideal for tight curves, too.
Our Binding Router Bit has a 1/8" shank, which fits most Dremel & Foredom tools. To use our 1/8"-shank bits in your laminate trimmer's 1/4" collet, use an adapter collet (not included).
Use this bit with our Binding Router Guide when routing the edges of archtop instruments, where a standard router base won't work.
Specifications:
- Cutter diameter: 5/16" (7.94mm)
- Shank diameter: 1/8" (3.18mm)
- Cutting height: 3/8" (9.52mm)
