"Hold Me," featuring Terry Weeks, is a beautiful ballad, one of several slow jams on the album, like "Woman," featuring long-time high tenor Ron Tyson, who also simmers on the mid-tempo "Warm Summer Nights." "Swatyismygirlooyeah" is a modern update of the Motown chestnut "My Girl." "Listen Up" is a cautionary tale, a new millennium version of "Ball Of Confusion."
