I bought this for the ASUS ZenWatch 2, which I love, to replace the stock blue leather band, which I don't love. The stock band is nice, and if I'd given it a few weeks to break in it might have become soft enough to become comfortable. I'm certainly not going to throw it away. But I wanted something more comfortable and all around nicer.
This band came exactly as shown. In fact, it's so close I suspect the pattern was printed on it somehow. But it looks fine, like stained leather. It has five rings, which are really steel. The stitching is what you'd expect in this price range, maybe a little better.
That fifth ring is kind of annoying, so I cut it off. That's how I found that the rings are really steel, it wasn't easy at all. But once I did I found out what it is for: the extra ring provides enough friction that the band doesn't move much at that point. If you take it off it does move around a bit more, and is very slightly annoying. Another option is to sort...
This is my first Nato type strap and I have to say that I like it very much. I have it on a 45mm Poljot Aviator. A watch this large needs a strap that can hold it's own and with five loops and the color this strap does a yeoman's job. The leather was soft making the strap comfortable out of the box. The color matches the product ad very well.
This is a good product (for what it costs). I've added this strap to a Wenger AeroGraph Cockpit watch, which is a pretty substantially cased watch, to replace the original silicone rubber strap that came with the watch. I wanted to class it up a bit with the leather. This band does a good job for a wide watch like this (24mm lug width). At $22, I'm pretty pleased with the purchase. That said, I've only had the band on this watch for a week and am already a little concerned that it's wearing out. It's showing some signs of stress at the hole and edges where it secures with the buckle. But, even if it only lasts a few months, it was pretty inexpensive and serves at least as a good test for which better, more substantial, and more expensive band I'll buy next.
In terms of how it looks, this model/color (tan burnt leather) is very bright. It looks very "new" and unused. If you don't want a strap so bright and consistently tan colored, I'd suggest a different...
