Together with Holmes and Watson, they ride madly across southern England trying to prevent a disastrous assassination and save the Empire. All the traditional Holmesian characters are present and in their appropriate roles. Mrs. Watson puts up with and readily looks after Holmes. Dr. Watson is always by his side and narrates the story. Inspector Lestrade, typically doubts Holmes deductions and then has to join in the hot pursuit. Several odd characters, just as you would expect in the London of 1902, enter and exit and help and hinder. Fans of Sherlock Holmes will enjoy a new adventure that closely follows the narratives, characters, setting, and language of the Canon.
