SubstrateSource Staurogyne repens in our easy to use, tissue culture mats, is a clean and convenient way to add this popular foreground plant to your freshwater planted aquarium. Once stablished, this plant spreads along the substrate to form a bold and bright, yet delicate looking, foreground area of your aquascape. S. repens propagates through runners and can can be trimmed using scissors, much like a miniature lawn.

The tissue culture growing processes propagates the plant in a pest-free environment and with all of the essential nutrients for exceptionally healthy plants. Simply rinse away any residual media that may be attached to the roots and the mat is ready to portion out and plant into your substrate.
