- Mega-Roll Surround & Patented Frame: Featuring Sundown's innovative Mega-Roll Surround and custom-tooled, patented frames (US Patent Numbers D691596, D691597, D691598, D741841), the M-10 offers exceptional linearity and excursion. This design ensures maximum cone movement for powerful, accurate bass without compromise.
- Massive Excursion & Voice Coil: This subwoofer achieves an incredible 35mm one-way linear excursion (Xmax) driven by a 3" diameter 4-layer round wire aluminum voice coil. Wound on a thick aluminum former, the coil's special winding density (developed by Sundown) provides a truly bottomless bass experience.
- Advanced Thermal Management: Built for sustained performance, the M-10 incorporates a highly efficient high-stroke coil ventilation system. This includes a high-velocity pole vent, a heavily vented magnetic gap through the black backplate, and proprietary high-velocity cast-aluminum frame-base venting, keeping temperatures in check.
- Optimized for Versatile Enclosures: The M-Series excels as the new standard in small, ported box subwoofers (recommended 1.5 cu ft net, 32Hz tuning, 24 sq in port area). It also opens up possibilities for sealed (0.75 cu ft) and IB applications, providing exceptional low-distortion bass extension in various setups.
