- Flexible Dual 2 Ohm Voice Coils: Featuring Dual 2 Ohm voice coils (RE: 3.65 Ohms), the SML-12 D2 offers flexible wiring configurations for optimal amplifier matching. Easily achieve a 1 Ohm or 4 Ohm final load, ensuring maximum power transfer and compatibility with a wide range of car audio amplifiers.
- Advanced Thermal Management: Built for longevity, it includes a 2.5” black aluminum voice coil former and high-temperature 4-layer copper voice coil wire for superior heat dissipation. A vented pole-piece and multi-vented magnetic gap enhance cooling, maintaining performance during extended use.
- Optimized for Small Enclosures: This subwoofer performs exceptionally well in compact spaces. Recommended sealed volume is 0.75-1.0 cu ft, and for ported, 1.25-1.75 cu ft (tuned to 35Hz with 26-30 sq in port area). Its 14mm Xmax ensures deep bass with reduced mechanical noise.
