Sweet Dreams sticks closely to the format established by its predecessor Behind Closed Doors by taking 23 great songs that started life in the world of country music before being successfully reinterpreted for the soul market.

This time our repertoire spans a wider period: starting in the 1940s and coming forward to the 70s. The majority of our featured artists are household names in the world of soul yet a significant majority of the featured tracks have never been issued on an Ace or Kent CD before.
