Accordionist Mika Vayrynen, a pioneer in contemporary accordion music, is the soloist in the composers concerto for accordion and orchestra, Prophecy, a work he also premiered. The Helsinki Philharmonic is led by Olari Elts, making his Ondine recording debut.
