The Saint-Chamond was the second French heavy tank of the First World War, remained engaged in various actions until late summer of 1918, belatedly becoming more effective since combat had moved out of the trenches and onto open ground. Kit features 1-piece sloped upper hull with rivets and exterior detail, separate hatches, front armored plate and roof mounted ventilation with detailed exterior, barrels, top stowage box, 2-piece hollow barrel 1897 field gun and 8mm Hotchkiss M1914 machine guns (swivel mounting), mud guards, detailed running gear (exhaust, sprockets, idler wheels), individual link (movable) and crew figure with WWI French uniform. Decals and camouflage schemes for (4) tanks: captured by Germans, Lataule, 11th June 1918; 3 Batterie de ce Groupe, Colonial Artillery Group, early 1918; Unit unknown, Counter-Battery Support, June 1918 and Unit spotted after leaving the factory, early 1918.
