This TB Woods Type QT Sure-Grip quick disconnect bushing with a torque capacity of 1,750 in-lbs is made of and is used for mounting a quick disconnect pulley, sheave, or sprocket on a drive shaft. It is split through the flange and taper to provide strong clamping on the shaft. The bushing is made of steel for greater strength and shock resistance than cast iron. It is keyed to the shaft to prevent the shaft from rotating in the bushing, and it is interchangeable with quick disconnect bushings from various manufacturers. This quick disconnect bushing is used in automobiles, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, and home appliances, among others.
