Description
- Product Name: Micro-Volume H-Type Electrolytic Cell with Replaceable Membrane (Membranes and electrodes are not included; the electrodes shown in the product images are for illustrative purposes only. If you require membranes or electrodes, please contact customer service to purchase them.)
- Material: High-borosilicate glass cell body + 3-way gas valve assembly + PTFE (Teflon) lid. Highly resistant to corrosion, acids, and alkalis.
- Function: The cathode chamber (containing the working electrode) and the anode chamber (containing the counter electrode) are separated by an ion-exchange membrane (to be provided by the user). The two chambers are sealed using stainless steel clamps, allowing for easy replacement of the separator membrane. The reference electrode is housed in the same chamber as the working electrode, effectively minimizing IR drop. Additionally, the barrier provided by the ion-exchange membrane effectively reduces the influence of the anode chamber on the cathode chamber.
- Features: Equipped with a 3-way gas valve assembly that allows for adjustable positioning of gas inlet/outlet ports (top or bottom). The gas flow rate can also be regulated by adjusting the valve openings. Furthermore, the assembly can be utilized as a liquid circulation system.
- Important Note: If you intend to use an electrode clamp to hold a sample for testing, you must use a "pass-through" style electrode clamp. (Common pass-through models include: stainless steel clamps, red copper clamps, and PEEK-bodied platinum clamps.) Standard PTFE-bodied platinum sheet electrode clamps are not compatible with this electrolytic cell; due to the small inner diameter of the cell body, the head of a standard PTFE clamp is too large to be inserted into the cell.
