Okay so we must gather round and discuss the topic of incontinence, something no one wants to chat about. Being somewhat young for this prob, I kept using 'overnight' pads and finally decided with all the Medicare/caid ads on TV that I would look into getting a prescription. However, if anyone doesnt already know Medicare does not cover disposable items such as these, you can get cloth diapers, but having had 5 kids that wasn't on my agenda anymore. I decided to try these, altho the word 'thin' scared me since the incontinence varies and sometimes is too heavy. Some of the cause is medications I use, but at night lying flat and suddenly at 2am waking in a fight of coughing...need I say more? I think not. If you're struggling with this issue and not sure where to start, start with these, they are super absorbent and LARGE, LONG. Instead of having to change regular pads during the day or waking at night, I use a TENA and can sleep thru the night and change on waking for the day... Read more
i "tested" this product. i even wore one that had accidently ripped on the side. i wanted proof that they were as good as these reviews said they were--they weren't cheap, so i was wanting to make sure i had actually gotten my money's worth. the short answer is: oh, heck yeah.

i need serious protection in the daytime, and i wore these overnight too. i often lose complete control at night. with my old protection method, i'd wear pants to 'catch' fluid leakage, and i'd have to change my pants and often had to change the bed pad as well. sometimes twice. with these, i can wear my nightgown, and a few times i've felt okay enough not to use the bed pad.

anyway, yeah, they are this good.
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?) I can't tell you how many of my 50+-aged female friends have asked me, in low embarrassed tones, if I have any problems with "leaking." They seem so relieved when I tell them that, oh, yeah, I've got a dribbly bladder and have had for years. They then confess that they do, too.

Hey, after all they've been through, old wimmins' bladders can get a little leaky. It's not a disease. It's normal aging. I don't want the pharmaceutical companies to make obscene profits off of me getting old (it's not a sense of urgency, anyway; it's occasional slight leaking), but I haven't been satisifed with the usual solution of using sanitary napkins to catch the dribbles.

I don't agree with a lot of folks here that the usual sanitary napkins are an acceptble substitute. Not if you aren't changing them quite frequently. A sanitary napkin is usually changed every four hours, more or less. The material they are made of is not designed to hold up all day, and certainly not all day and... Read more
