TPM2.0 Module, 18Pin TPM Module System Components Motherboards for for for from 100 Series Onwards are Supported
- 18 Pin: Replacement TPM 2.0 module chip 2.0mm pitch, 18 pin security module for motherboards. Built in support for memory modules higher than DDR3!
- Reserved Memory: Standard PC architectures reserve a certain amount of memory for system use, so the actual memory size will be less than the specified amount and the supported state may vary depending on the motherboard specification.
- Supported Systems: TPM module support for 7 64 bit, for 8.1 32 64 bit, for 10 64 bit.
- Applicability: The TPM2.0 encryption security module is available for for 11 motherboards. Some motherboards require the TPM module to be inserted or updated to the latest BIOS to enable the TPM option.
- Secure Storage: The TPM is a standalone encryption processor connected to the motherboard's daughter board. The TPM securely stores an encryption key that can be created using encryption software ( for for BitLocker). Without this key, the content on the user's PC will remain encrypted and protected from unauthorised access.
