Eevee's ability Run Away allows it to escape from any wild battle, regardless of trap moves such as Mean Look. Eevee's other ability, Adaptability, increases the power of STAB-or Same Type Attack Boost-moves, doubling the power of its Normal-Type Attacks instead of the usual 50% power increase that a STAB move would receive. Eevee's Hidden Ability is the Anticipation Ability, which causes it to shudder when its opponent knows a 1-hit KO or Super-Effective move.
