• UHWM POLYETHYLENE TAPE: This tape features a UHMW Polyethylene film backing with an aggressive acrylic adhesive. The film backing has excellent durability, abrasion resistance, and tensile strength.
• WEAR AND NOISE REDUCTION: The UHMW-PE backing creates a self-lubricating, non-stick surface for many tough impact wear and sliding applications. The tape also reduces squeaks, rattles, and other noises caused by vibration or two surfaces rubbing.
• APPLICATIONS: Excellent for automotive applications, reducing squeaks and rattles in vehicle interiors and doors. Widely used in mechanical applications, including chute and hopper lining, wear pads, guide rails, and more.
• SPECIFICATIONS: This UHMW-PE tape roll measures 0.75 inches in width and 5 yards in length. The tape backing thickness is 5 mil and the total tape thickness is 7.3 mil.
