Alloy 910 is meant to be the perfect filament for high-performance 3D printing. According to taulman, the material has "a combined tensile strength higher than the strongest co-polyesters, the durability of Nylons, a shrinkage factor that rivals our t-glase, a vast range of chemical resistance, and a 95° C working range." At the same time, it's designed to be used with relative ease.

It's tough, it's flexible but not too flexible.. but I've had some issues with layer delamination on it. I've tried printing from 245c to the highest temp my printer can reach (260c), and from 20mm/s to 50mm/s and regardless of the settings, I get delamination with any significant impact to the edges of my print. I've been printing at 0.2mm layer height, and was recently recommended to go to 0.1mm layer height. I printed a few IGUS style bearings at 0.1mm, and still got some delamination at the ends. So I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or if this is just a property of nylon.
I've also tried drying it out before printing, doesn't seem to help much.
As another buyer stated, this is a 1 POUND roll, NOT 1 kilogram, even though the "item weight" on the page is 2.1 POUNDS.
EDIT: I'm adding a star because Taulman helped me figure out the delamination problem. Turn up the heat! I maxed my printer out at 275c for the extruder, and that...
I have been using Taulman 910 for over a year it is roughly 8 times stronger than PLA and can be used for many usable parts from hinges to UAV parts. It is paintable, machinable, can be used for low RPM bearings/bushing and has very good layer to layer bonding as long as it is dry when printed. It is very hygroscopic so it must be kept dry...I use a heated box and keep it at 140 degrees Fahrenheit, which seems to work quite well.
The listing clearly states repeatedly 1 Kg but it is actually one POUND. That make this 2.2 times more expensive than I expected. I guess I should have believed the picture?
