- Desert Ironwood has a Janka Hardness rating of 2299 lb(f)
- Sold as a bookmatched pair cut from a single block. Sold as a pair. Each is at least 5" x 1-1/2" x 3/8". Use sealer to bring out the color and close the pores when finishing.
Desert Ironwood grows in the arid regions of the southwest United States and northwest Mexico. This highly chatoyant wood features wild swirls and grain patterns, varying from very dark black to golden yellow and red. Use sealer to close the pores when finishing.
