Suzanne Hosteller has struggled to find a place where she fits in ever since leaving the Amish faith to pursue a career as a police officer. Gideon's a widower and has made it clear that he doesn't want to pick things up where they left. His heart, however, has other thoughts and he finds himself drawn deeper into the web of murder than he ever wanted to be.
