The Book Thief is the story about a little girl named Liesel, who has been taken to a new home as it was financially impossible for her mother to take care of her. The story is being told by Death, who turns out to be an important character of the story and as you go deep into the various incidents you start to respect as well as feel sorry for the character at the end. Most of the things told by Death are very philosophical and beautiful as well.
